I said “We blew it –
it was a joint effort,
I’m sorry to see it end.
It’s sad.”
Her final words to me:
“Don’t worry. Believe
in the meant to be.”
It is sad to see
a relationship
that was full
of hope and
passion, shiny
and new come
to an end –
just shy
of three months
due to two stubborn
souls, Virgos, so adept
at communication
that our words
carried too much weight
to bear our stubborn
personalities, and
unbending lines.
