Benjamin Aleshire travels the world as a poet-for-hire, composing poems for strangers on a manual typewriter in the street. Ben is the recipient of a 2020 James Merrill Fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center, and a waiter-scholarship to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference.
