Artist Statement: This series of poems was inspired by the New York Times games including the Wordle, Connections and Crossword, I found that using such a different medium for poetry really helped convey ideas without words that can be hard to say otherwise.
Novella Wu is a ninth grader living in Taipei and a student at Taipei American School. When she’s not writing, Novella enjoys knitting, sewing and playing softball. She enjoys writing short stories and poetry with themes of family and identity.
