paradise snorkel countdown

sphere in the hand the lessons will be done
in hose-down thunder-in-a-barn
bare-ass naked Lutheran time inner silence
pounding glyphs crushing pearls to better fit
the envelopes I shall petition Lord with
what is there left of the anyway, anyway?
plutonium cruelty mesa shimmers all over the hands
if winter there, then body vanquished
mound of melted snow fallen samurai if spring,
then just another throat pregnant with starlings
