
Austin Veldman is a poet and artist living in South Bend, Indiana. His work has been featured in Epiphany Magazine, Atlanta Review, Ocean State Review, Midwest Quarterly, Plainsongs, and more. He is currently the Managing Editor of 42 Miles Press and Co-Editor of The Glacier, both of Indiana University South Bend. Along with David Dodd Lee, he is currently editing a collection of unpublished poems by the late Joe Bolton to be published by 42 Miles Press. He is the founding editor of Twyckenham Notes. The journal was published from 2017 to 2023 and was awarded a Pushcart Prize in 2019. The magazine is currently on hiatus. His chapbook, “Cabin on Ares,” was a finalist for the Galileo Press Chapbook Prize. He holds a MA from Indiana University South Bend, where he has taught contemporary poetry.
