Welcome to Issue 11

I know I say something similar in every issue, but I really am amazed by the quality of work that poets and artists continue to send to our little online journal! It’s incredible, and I just want to say that I’m so grateful that you trust us with your work.

Putting together an issue is always hectic, but doing this work is sacred to me. I love sharing these words with you and getting to read and participate in the process of so many poets and artists.

I have been feeling like being quiet and listening lately, so I don’t have that much to say. There’s so much chaos in the world, and I’m just trying to figure out how to do my best.

I invite you, dear reader, to peruse these poems that soothe, confuse, trouble, irritate, exclaim, and celebrate. There are poems about food, spirituality, tradition, love, sex, relationships, technology, language, and loss, to name a few topics.

Happy winter,

Natalie Solmer
