Kristin Emanuel holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Kansas where she studied speculative ecopoetics and the comics poetry movement. She is now a PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis. Her poems and comics have recently appeared in Thrush Poetry Journal, Grub Street, Shenandoah, and The Rupture.
